This year's picnic was held at Ortega Park in excelent weather - not to hot and not too cool!
We were pleased with the attendence - about 75 people.

If you were unable to make the June luncheon at SV Ortega Park, you missed a great time. Attendance was great, food was delicious, desserts were provided by the lady attendees, and the marinade tri tip & chicken quarters were grilled to perfection by four previous Big Sirs under the watchful eye of top chef Bob Byers (2005 Branch Big Sir). Oh yes... I forgot to mention corn on the cob, grilled garlic bread, and heated baked beans. Lunch began with appetizers — grilled brats with sauce for dipping, chips with dips, veggies for dipping, and peanuts. The food was delicious and nobody left hungry. After lunch, two raffles were held, one for the ladies who brought dessert and one for the Sirs. The ladies with a winning ticket received a beautiful flower arrangement and the winning Sirs received a bottle of vino.
